Denise White President-Elect Denise.White@hcmed.org Denise White has more than eight years experience as an operational manager and twenty plus years in quality and risk in both staff and leadership roles. Her clinical background was in critical care both ICU and Emergency Department. She has demonstrated ability to lead people and manage projects to completion. She is open to new ideas with a consistent record of achieving personal and organizational objectives. Denise spent eight years on the west coast returning to Minneapolis in the fall of 2009. In her current position at Hennepin County Medical Center, she has responsibility for a comprehensive safety program. That program includes patient, employee and environmental safety. When on the west coast she worked in the Providence Health & Services health system and the last position she held was VP Risk and Quality for the WA MT region which has 10 acute facilities and numerous non acute care services. Some of her achievements in that position included: Led the integration of quality and risk staff and functions between the newly merged WA region (3 acute care sites) and Providence Services system with 9 acute care sites. Created the appropriate infrastructure to support quality and risk in the newly integrated WA MT region. Created and developed the regional quality team staff to include clinical data analysis, accreditation, black belt and program manager for Quality Strategic Plan.   Back to Contact Us
