Elaine E. Johnson, RN, BS, CPHQ President Elaine.E.Johnson@state.mn.us Elaine is a registered nurse with 20 years of hospital healthcare experience in various settings and roles including cardiac patient education, staff education, and management positions where quality was a small part of her job. She began her fulltime quality improvement career in 2000 in the quality management department of an HMO and received her CPHQ certification in 2004. She currently works as a Quality Assurance Examiner for the Minnesota Department of Health – Managed Care Section. She also does some independent QI consulting. Elaine obtained a Diploma in Nursing from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of St Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
