Bridget has been working in the Department of Quality Management Services at the Mayo Clinic as the manager of the Sentinel Event Program for twelve years. Prior to this she spent 20 years working as a registered dietitian in Food Service Management at Saint Mary’s Hospital. In her current position she has responsibility for a staff of five who investigate adverse patient events, facilitate the root cause analysis of sentinel events and the design and implementation of interventions that address patient safety related concerns. She also currently serves on the MHA Public Reporting and Safety Registry Advisory Council.
