MHQP has approximately 70 quality professional members.
Membership is open to all individual professionals who participate
in healthcare quality management and improvement, including and not restricted
to: general, acute, long-term, clinical, home, regulatory agencies, health
plan, research, rehabilitation, teaching, behavioral care, ambulatory,
pediatrics, multicare health systems, and managed care.
MHQP as a voluntary organization, strives to anticipate
and meet member's needs by:
- making available education opportunities related to the
theory and practice of healthcare quality, as well as meeting professional
responsibilities
- making available networking opportunities and information
exchange
- collaborating and influencing other organizations regarding
healthcare quality
- promoting the profession of healthcare quality in Minnesota
through representation or lobbying activities, professional development,
and professional recognition.
